Sustainability

Our plan is to make all of our products carbon neutral and continually strive to remove any wastage produced by our company.

We're cutting the majority of emissions through:

• Innovations in materials
• Using clean electricity including our supply and our use of solar panels
• Replacing company vehicles with EVs
• Removing plastic packaging and replacing where possible with cardboard
• Recycling and upcycling waste products such as our wooden hose reels
• Shredding cardboard boxes we receive here to reuse as packaging materials
• Recycling all of our stainless steel and aluminium swarf and reusing oil
• Replacing all internal and external lighting with LEDs
• Making products with lifetime guarantees

The UN has highlighted 17 goals to transform our world as follows:

• No poverty
• Zero hunger
• Good health and well being
• Quality education
• Gender equality
• Clean water and sanitation
• Affordable and clean energy
• Decent work and economic growth
• Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure
• Reduced inequality
• Sustainable cities and communities

• Peace, justice and strong institutions
• Partnership for the goal

Of these 17 goals we have already taken direct action in 14 of these and of the remaining three, where we are unable to make a change internally, we will seek out alternatives and third party partners to allow us to donate and aid these developments.
